Recover Grub boot Loader after installing windows

for rhel

1. insert your linux cd , an interactive menu will appear
     Type "linux rescue" and press enter


It will ask u to detect any LINUX Partitions earlier present & will mount

it under /mnt/sysimage. After that u will enter in SHELL,

2. you  have  to change the it to root by following command & then install GRUB boot

loader.


sh#chroot /mnt/sysimage

sh#grub-install /dev/hda

sh#exit.

Now it will get automatically rebooted, and your Linux is RESTORED.
